As an important member of the integrated DPM care team, she has helped many patients to restore health and wellness and to improve their overall quality of life.

“Because of pain I have real life problems happening.  Katie has helped me
cope and this has been huge for me.  Her expertise has been a vital part of
my care at DPM.”
Nicole, DPM Patient

Katie’s philosophy: Some of the most impressive and empowered people have endured great challenges, and through psychotherapy, have emerged to find themselves stronger, happier, and more resilient. For the chronic pain patient, Katie’s goals are to remove barriers to emotional and psychological wellbeing, improve overall functioning, and restore a sense of purpose and meaning.  Chronic pain affects more than one’s body.  It impacts relationships, disrupts mood and sleep, affects one’s ability to work and to live independently.  However, those who work with her report significant gains in their ability to live effectively and meaningfully despite their chronic pain. As a person who has experienced her own chronic pain history, she knows that recovery is possible and is an advocate for others.  As such she is passionate about the recovery journey and the positive outcomes that she knows are within reach.
